Health insurance for foreigners resided contained by Germany?
I'm a Singapore citizen at age 43, and I'm planning to go to Germany this coming August to take up a German talking course for 6 months or so.
As I was told that health insurance is mandatory contained by Germany, I'm wondering how I can get my health insurance covered during my stay within Germany.
Can any of you shed some light on this for me? Thanks very much surrounded by advance.

Yes, a health insurance is mandatory surrounded by this country, for every citizen.

You are just coming here and want to learn German Language and staying for 6 months. So because you are not employed and enjoy any health insurance. This mean you inevitability to get some health insurance and discharge that by your own.
Allianz has something like that too. Another inhabitants answer your question also and they give you some another insurance name. Also ask the local German embassy for this question, perhaps they convey you more. Have fun in Germany, I know you like that place.
DKV Versicherungsgruppe (0180-358222 telephone from inside Germany) offers an "auslander versicherung" for non-residents. The insurance can only cover you for a maximum of 4 years total (even if in attendance is a break in insurance). The rates are good, service is honourable, and not complicated to use.
I had private health insurance through AXA Colonia and be very happy next to it. I paid about 250 euros a month and be fully covered - for EVERYTHING. I am sure you can get something cheaper though.
