Is ptosis (sagging eyelid) habitually covered by condition insurance?
My friend has a sagging eyelid and be wondering if the plastic surgery to correct the eyelid can be covered by most health insurance plans?
Answers:
It depends on the insurance. If the procedure is submitted with the words "interfers next to visian and the ability to see" there is a perfect chance it may be.
It will if it affects her vision to respectively side. If she is looking straight ahead and the lid hangs over the side of the eye preventing her from seeing what is to the side of her, the insurance usually pays.
