People who do not hold vigour insurance: How do we do it?
My family and I do not have it any. We are a working family and cannot afford it. We make too much to qualify for state assistance and do not make enough to afford it. If we bought what is offerered by the employer, we could not brand our mortgage payment and other bills. We often do not move about to Doctor because we cannot afford to go. It just isn't rational. Does anyone find this as frustrating as myself?
Answers:
It is not the governments responsibility to provide health insurance. Try getting another situation, sell stuff, get rid of the cell phone, cable, and etc.
hi, i know how you quality i'm in the same boat i can't bring insurance for myself or my son he has autism we are uninsuable. we are not poor enough to receive help. i just put what i imagine it would cost for insurance up every week and use it when we have to. i also owe our hospital 8000.00 for er visit. i foot 50.00 a month more if i have extra. it was over 10000.00 so im chipping away at it.. virtuous luck i go without paps and mamograms hope i don't gain cancer!!
It is my opinion that most individuals and families can afford form insurance, IF they purchase a policy that covers most preventive care, and has a high than, "normal," deductible. Having a $5000 deductible, yet one covered for annual physicals, office visits, medication, and urgent nurture, allows me get the medical attention I may need. The $5000 deductible keep my monthly premium reasonable, but more importantly it gives me the incentive to stay as forceful as possible, (exercise often, stay at normal immensity,) so that I will hopefully never be in a position to have to come upon the deductible. Yes, accidents happen, as do unpardonable illnesses, but even with such a high deductible I know that I will not be wipe out financially for many years had I no insurance.
Maybe the relatives cannot afford the group dependent rate offered by their employer, but there are alternatives. The employee take the insurance from the employer at little or no cost, the spouse and children purchase their own individual policy with a high deductible from a reputable company such as Blue Cross Blue Shield. Maybe the own flesh and blood buys, "child-only," coverage for now. It is more than likely that the individual plan will be considerably smaller amount than the cost through the employer.
It's been said here so often, but bear repeating, find a broker in your town that deals beside reputable companies. You will be surprised to find out that there is affordable health insurance out within. Certainly more affordable than being uninsured and having thousands and thousands of dollars to earnings off $50 at a time for years to come. Well, it's frustrating.
One problem is our taxes are too large. Not necessarily income taxes, but social security and welfare taxes - they're usually around 20% of what you make. Then, we tend to spend profoundly, and as Americans, we have a tremendous amount of debt. If you cut all your loan payments out (credit cards, cars, etc) I'd conjure that would pay your portion of your employer's health plan.
For us (currently a one income family), we hold no cable, don't go to the movies, don't buy anything we can't pay for, so can afford not merely the family health coverage from work ($400 a month) but also the exhorbitant co-pays for adjectives of our pre-existing conditions (another $650 a month).
It's all about prioritizing. Food first, afterwards shelter, then health thinking, in our house. Entertainment and eating out is at the bottom of the container - and cable tv is DEFINATELY entertainment. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
I am able to get a low-cost (PeachCare, vitally Medicaid that I pay $15/month) for my sons but I can't get anything for myself. My employer doesn't even submit it. I've run up my credit card paying for my wisdom teeth to be removed and have so plentiful things wrong with me that I know about I'd be afraid to find out what here is that I don't know about. Ppl just don't have a handle on (I know I didn't) really how nice it is to be able to just jump to a Dr when you need to. I also had to choose between a home or strength care. It's just down, inmates get health diligence and we get nothing.
