Friend diagnosed beside uterine cancer beside no form insurance. What should she do?
My friend recently got diagnosed beside uterine cancer. She is only 26 years old and does not own health insurance. She cannot afford the diagnostic procedure they want to do to remove the cancer. (D and C?) Is there any program that you know of that can abet her? Her daughter is on medical.

Diagnostic procedures do not remove cancer. They diagnose problems.
I've never heard of a D and C as a treatment for uterine cancer. A D and C (dilation and curettage) is what you do for an abortion or after a miscarriage.
She needs to verbalize to her doctor about what she should do.
most states have emergency catastropic medicaid. she can call her county robustness department, or talk to the social service department at the hospital in her community. here are a few programs out there. this is another reason to endorse universal health charge. how awful. im sorry.
go to ur opening center (wher u get m.a.) it takes 4 months to return with but it starts right away n they pay the back bills. my friend get a lung removed 6 months ago-she just got her card n they rewarded it all.
Unless she has children I don't presume she can receive Medi-Cal...she may be eligible for the program our hospital offers called M.I.A. or Medically Indigent Adult...BUT bring up to date her to at least TRY for Medi-Cal...Good Luck Source(s): ER/Med Lab 16+ years
