You would have to check beside your health insurance company to be sure, but I do not believe you have to be seeking a specific level. I also do not see why you would have to be enrolled at alike school with the 12 credits. Anything I own ever heard is that you have to be a full time student (12 credits or more per semester); I enjoy never heard that it has to be at like school.
Something else you might look into is that most schools that I know of proffer health insurance to all of their students -- 12 credits or not. I believe you can jump to your health center on campus and look into that.

I suppose it wouldn't matter if not adjectives the credits are coming from the same school, but that's a bit unusual.
