Abnormal pap and contemporary condition insurance?

My husband lost his job, and we have until the lapse of the month with our current insurance. I had gone for my routine OB apt. a couple of weeks ago, and they basically called me last week to speak that there were some unexpected cells and that they wanted me to come contained by again just as a precautionary checkup.

I have programmed another apt for next week, but I am also in the process of applying next to Blue Shield for a new policy for next month. The application is asking me if I own had an abnormal pap, etc. Will they consider this a "pre-existing" condition and decline me?

This is sticky. I would progress to a lawyer or legal aid for warning. Most of the time the pre existing thing only applies if nearby is a lapse in coverage. But, most policies also have a clause that they will not cover things similar to cancer until you have been covered by the hot policy for a year.

Unfortunatly you cant lie, because if they find out you did, you will be dropped and asked to repay anything they paid out. So you hold no choice but to answer truthfully. But I still say talk to someone from legitimate aid or something to find out what they can or cant do. A lot of this may vary based on where on earth you are.
