We I be covered for a pre-existing pregnancy if I evacuate one position beside robustness insurance and step to another duty?

I have been looking for a post for the last 3 months and now that I finally enjoy an offer, and they want a response from me in a few days....I regard I might be pregnant. Can anyone tell me what my ramifications will be if I adopt this new position as far as health insurance is concerned. Will I know how to be covered for maternity with a pre-existing armour? Do you know if Cobra covers a pre-existing pregnancy?
Answers:
Under COBRA ruling, yes. There is also 100% paid medical coverage for pregnant women under Medicaid that covers the entire pregnancy and post-3 months, as ably as your child for at least a year.
According to HIPAA, pregnancy cannot be counted as a pre-existing condition. Meaning, if you switch jobs (and insurance), the second insurance policy BY LAW have to cover your pregnancy.
Also, Cobra insurance is set up to cover you after you leave a job... its expensive, but it offer the exact same coverage that you had with your employer's insurance policy. So, depending on what your current employer offer, Cobra will offer the same coverage.
But, if you own a new job, sign up for their group policy. Pregnancy is not a pre-existing condition.
Good luck beside that!
I believe Cobra might but double check.

I was 6 months pregnant when I started my new charge and I was covered. Your work actually covers the confer on not the health incs. The incs covers the birth and hospital stay.
Pregnancy is no longer a pre-existing condition. At worst, you could qualify for medicaid if you are not eligible for job insurance.
I was pregnant when I got a position, after 90 days, when I got to sign up for the insurance, I had to ask if pregnancy be considered a pre existing condition. BCBS of FL didn't consider it a pre existing condition, but I don't know if that is across the board or if it differs by the plan or the state you live in.
If you are contained by the early stages I would accept the position. Most feasible you have not gone to the doctor yet to confirm it, so technically it is not a pre existing condition as it have not been diagnosed. You might want to hold off on your first stop by until the insurance is in place.
Good luck!
