I'm sorry to hear about your father's diagnosis. I hope they caught it hasty.
I want you to also know that many drug companies will give free or discounted drug to race who can't afford it. There will be income/asset requirements, but it is worth checking out as treatment can be very expensive.
Blessings to your family. Source(s): Life, my friend.
I'm sorry to have to telll you this, but they usually don't give insurance to empire with pre-existing conditions (especially something like cancer). Talk to his doctors and the hospital. I know some hospitals enjoy hardship programs where you apply (kind of resembling financial aid for school) and they may clear his bills. Just remember, he can't be denied care just because he doesn't hold insurance.
I just came across this website, you may find masses useful information on health insurance quotes, hopefully may oblige you:

I hate to be the bearer of bad word but he will not qualify for any individual health plan, cheap or otherwise, to help him next to the costs.
He does have three options.
First likelihood; get a job near health benefits. There may be a waiting period but at smallest he'll get coverage.
Second option; apply for Medicaid. He will enjoy to qualify with low income and low assets.
Third option; reimburse cash. You can negotiate a cash price for the services received, which can be as low as partially of what they normally charge. If you can't pay adjectives at once, most doctors and hospitals will work with you for payment.
You may capture answers here concerning medical discount cards. Be very wary of these cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the those that sell them need to be licensed. This finances you have little recourse when you have problems beside the plan. If you are tempted by the low price and claims of “save up to 80%” be aware that very few doctors in fact take these cards. It does you little good if you enjoy to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will accept the card. Montana couldn’t find any doctors in the adjectives state that actually took the card and only one dentist who be on probation for unlawful activities so they banned the Dutch auction of the card and fined the company. See this link http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/wes… for more information. Many other states are starting to ban these cards as okay. Source(s): Independent Agent
Go to a municiple hosptal's Urology clinic and exaggerate a bit..eg..bloody urine, bone pain.
Some of these answers are good, others are overboard. The best way to receive treatment is to look through www.clinicaltrials.gov to see if your father can qualify for treatment that is standard treatment but done to see how effective it is when you redeploy certain conditions. You may have to turn to a large hospital or clinic that performs these trials to see what is best for your father. The treatment is standard and doesn't cost a long-suffering anything.
Good luck! Source(s): www.clinicaltrials.gov
