Do most dentists do teeth bleaching at their office? Is it usually covered by robustness insurance?
I have a decent insurance plan, by the path. If dentists don't typically do it, who does? And how much would it cost?
Answers:
Yes, they can bleach your teeth within the office, but no insurance will pay for it because it would be classified as cosmetic and is the a condition issue.
Yes, Dentist office do...Its kind of expensive I think...They enjoy 1-hour bleaching. And I don't think insurance covers it because its more of a cosmetic thing....its not a strength issue if you're teeth are not very white...its just looks desperate. You would have to check your insurance handbook..its explains the exlcusions
I have never worked for an office where on earth we didn't do teeth whitening. Some office only do the trays, and not the "laser" bleaching.
In my organization the whitening trays are $350 and the Zoom whitening is $595.00
I have never seen an insurance cover any type of whitening. Source(s): Registered dental assistant for 11 years.
Yes, a lot of dentists do bleaching. No, it is cosmetic so it won't be covered by your insurance
