Petplan, this insurance has been great for me VERY unfortunately my dog died and they pay back the excact amount you rate for the animal inc all vet care inside 7 - 10 days.. They also give you the first 2 months free insurance and always hold special deals to give you longer period of time after this free trial you only pay 7.50 a month so its a large amount look on google and put petplan. I hope your cats gets better =]
pet insurance will only benefit you chronological a certain amount of money...just similar to with people, you hold to pay a deductible, so if you aren't spending more than that in a year, you wouldn't benefit from purchasing it...you'll retribution more in insurance fees each month than your cat...check out the insurance premiums and the deductibles...it may not be worth it.
You probably will not find a health insurance to be precise willing to cover your pet if it has preexisting conditions.
Most health insurance policies, animal or human, do not cover pre-existing conditions.
It's slightly likely that any pet insurance you would get at this point would not cover a pre-existing condition, undesirably. Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) is the oldest and largest in the United States, and I know they do have pre-existing condition restrictions. Cats may hold kidney issues if they are fed dry food. You may want to consider changing your cat to a feature meat canned (or raw) food. Fed adequate nutrition, your cat will be much well again, and you may not have to worry give or take a few unusual veterinary expense. most pet robustness insurance policies are scams, unless your paying quite a bit for it (some of the superior priced ones are decent).
all of the pet health insurance forms i hold seen and filled out will not cover a pre-existing condition such as kidney trouble. i also read one insurance plan that wouldn't cover anything bilateral... if near was a problem with a knees, then it wouldn't cover it because in argument there could be the same problem next to the other knee (stupid huh?).
look into different plans, and call around and ask different vet in your area who offer the best coverage. Source(s): vet tech 17 years
I wouldn't both near health insurance. Either find out what is wrong with the cat and verbs treating and paying, or maybe you need to look at another substitute?
Until recently, I didn't even know such a entry existed. I sure wish I would of because my 5 year old manly cat just ended up next to urinary tract problems and the vet bills are up to $2000. So, unless you can afford this sort of unexpected cost I would definately recommend it! : )
