Health Insurance within Panama, do they enjoy Blue Cross, Blue Shield?
I'm going to relocate to Panama in the next couple of months. My current condition insurance policy is with Blue Cross, Blue Shield and I would like to know if I can verbs my policy to Panama or do I have to get a strange one there? Is there even Blue Cross surrounded by Panama? Does anybody know a good, English speaking insurance broker in Panama?

Regarding your question I put on the market Blue Cross, Blue Shield here in Panama. The premiums here are probably less than partly of what you pay abroad. You can bring a policy with domestic or international coverage (worldwide). For the international you are supposed to be here in Panama for 9 months out of the year. You do not hold to have your visa approved to get robustness insurance. The maximum age for applying is 62 and we exclude pre-existing conditions.
Unfortunately since each branch is owned separate, we can't transfer your existing policy to Panama. I'm working on the company to approve this, but it will clutch sometime before it's actually done.
In the baggage you are over 62 or have a pre-existing condition there are other pious companies here that I work with.
Health care contained by Panama is great we have very correct doctors and great hospitals and since it's not a litigious country that means costs are lower, this is why your premiums here will be much lower than abroad.
I can give a hand you as well with any other type of insurance want you might have, and I also do the insurances required for a mortgage (life and fire) in Panama.

If you are currently beside Blue Cross Blue Shield, you need to contact your current BCBS carrier and see if they proposal an interplan transfer to Panama. I know that BCBS does this for certain state to state policies, so it could be a possibility for you. The best approach to find out would be to contact your current carrier and see if you policy qualifies and if it is offered to Panama.
