What is better - socialized medication or affordable strength insurance?
Answers: I would prefer affordable health insurance, preferably a PPO to some extent than an HMO.
Socialized medicine tends to smaller number efficient and often smaller amount available.
Even if a person didn't know anything just about health care, the word "socialized" should be satisfactory of a clue as to which would be a better choice. This is America, not Cuba or the USSR. Why do some people feel that placing power within the hands of the government is a flawless thing? Name three social programs that the United States government is involved within that have turned out to be a smashing successes. I bet you can't.
Socialized medicine... at least you won't be hit by surprised bills, or be turned away because the doctor is not certified beneath the insurance company's listing. A socialized medical system doesn't prevent any one from going to his/her choice of high-priced private medical protection. He/she can still buy into a health insurance of his/her choice. There's no stopping those who are bloody rich to have their own robustness insurance..
There's no stopping, under UK's socialized medical system, any Brit from seeking out health treatments from the importantly priced Harley Street doctors, if they so desire. Socialized medical system assures all citizens have form care... and it prevents any vital diseases from spreading, if uncovered too past due. What if someone, who handles food, contracts a deadly and contagious disease, but can't afford to jump to a doctor? All it takes is for others to contract his/her diease by eating the food handle by him/her... and the spread of the deadly disease would go spiralling across the community. If UK did not enjoy a socialized medical system, probably the madcow disease would not have been uncovered so untimely!
So many Americans are brainwashed to believe that there are no private doctors or private condition care centers in nation with socialized health caution. It bemuses me to see how clueless they are. UK has a socialized health guardianship system. Do you really think the Queen of England or any of the Members of Parliament don't consult private practioners?
Countries with socialized drug give their citizens better choices. They can either progress for free treatment or choose to pay for private doctors. Nobody can be turned away when he/she falls sick.
