How to if a Health Insurance provider is bona fide?
Hi Friends
I am an international grad student in USA. I was trying to buy individual robustness insurance and reached the insurance provider's website i have given below. my query is what is the way to know if this a genuine and obedient insurance provider. kindly help
the insurance website is: http://www.psiservice.com
Answers:
Go with a reputable insurance company.. one that other relatives have heard of. Honestly, I own never heard of psiservice. You can also try looking up businesses at http://www.bbb.com (The Better Business Beareau) and see if the company is satisfactory or not. Best Wishes!
You can check with the Department of Insurance in your state - collectively, to do business in a state, an insurance company needs to be licensed/registered next to the Department of Insurance.
Also, from a quick glance at the website, it looks close to that company states that they are endorsed by some colleges. I'd check with the graduate school you're attending and confirm whether they recommend the company (or at least possible are aware that its a legitimate company). I'd presume that there's someone at your school who works next to international students who might be familiar with the company.
Good luck! Source(s): 10+ years working with robustness insurance companies, medical providers, and employee benefits
Don't buy over the internet - use a local agent, and you won't draw from scammed. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
