Question roughly speaking strength insurance?

I recently watched a show titled "Sicko" that was directed by Michael Moore on health insurance. In the picture is exposed the difficulty of obtaining health insurance and presented a long inventory of pre-concieved illneses one could have that would make it extrememly difficult to get hold of health insurance. In my childhood, I had a minor bout of tourettes syndrom that like lightning went away after a couple of years, but my record of this may still be within some hospital file. Should this little snag be any concern to me?
Answers:
If you are talking group insurance that you get through your employer, no. If you are applying for individual condition insurance, you will need to paint as rosy a picture for them as possible in lay down to qualify.

In spite of the perception people have roughly speaking insurance companies, they don't go snooping through doctor and hospital files to find your medical history. They access your medical history through Medical Information Bureau, anything recorded by long-gone insurers - and WHAT YOU TELL THEM. What happened in your childhood will not show up on your MIB report, if you be covered with group health by your parents. Since you require no treatment for it presently, you don't need to mention it. It's irrelevant to the insurance company. Source(s): http://www.health-insurance-low-cost.net - my site

The only way to know is to apply. But if you capture health insurance through an employer, they can't deny you. It's only if you achieve a private policy that you have to worry going on for that stuff.
I would say no. Don't even mention it.

I saw "Sicko" too. It be good, except there be a little exaggeration going on.

You should have no trouble getting robustness insurance. They only keep annals for 7 years. Tourettes Syndrome? What Tourettes Syndrome? ;) Source(s): Nurse.
