Does anyone know of a well-mannered strength insurance plan for family whos available job does not hold out it?
Answers: Sure, but it's EXPENSIVE. Family health insurance runs around $800 to $1200 a month. And private coverage doesn't usually include any maternity benefits.
Most of what you'll see offer for, if it's significantly lower (like around $150 a month) isn't insurance - it's a "discount plan" that you subscribe to. All they do, is give you a card. Likely, your provider won't take the card. They don't enjoy to. The discount plan doesn't reimburse anything. They don't promise anything, and even if you DO get a 20% discount off a $10,000 hospital bill, you still own to pay $8,000.
One thing I DO recommend, IF You qualify - it's a condition cost SHARING plan, http://medi-share.org/
It's still not insurance, but they've been around since 1993. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
I'm with a 15 year older company that offers discount fee-for-service programs. If you're interested, we have a providers directory you can check to see if your current providers adopt the plan. Our prices start (a) 19.95/month for the entire household. Visit www.mybenefitsplus.com/trhonda2000 for more information.
