A relative of mine desires a bone marrow transplant, but have no form insurance. Any design on what we can do?
His immediate family does not hold the thousands of dollars necessary to have the bone marrow transplant. We live surrounded by Texas and I would like to know if there is anything we can do to bump up the money needed or take him to a hospital that will help him free of charge or a reduced price. Right presently we are open to all option, but we want to save him as he is only 27 years matured and just married. Thankyou!

The best suggestion I could contribute you would be to set up a fund for him at a local bank, and then appeal to the community to aid through donations, fund-raisers, etc. If he or other relatives are members of a local church, that might be a place to start; otherwise does someone belong to a club or organization that does charity work? If you could catch an interview with a local TV or radio station or newspaper, you might know how to get the word out about the fundraiser or where on earth to send donations.
I would also see if the hospital has a social worker or someone they can refer you to that might own leads on additional resources.
