I'm pregnant by a 2nd LT contained by the army:( I hold no vigour insurance, will the military discharge for my healthcare?

Things aren't going good with us....He is departure for Iraq at the end of this year....I need him to relieve with this pregnancy....Even if I can force the military to help...
Answers:
NO! pregnancy as a result from girlfriends, one night stands, unflappable sex with a military man does not mean **** to the army!
YOU enjoy to be married and a military dependent in order to bring health care benefits.
You cannot force the military to help you. You are a girlfriend, fiancee, rushed fling, you are not a spouse so therefore not eligible for any care or information from the military. Once the child is born i.e. a different story, the child will be eligible for health care, use of underneath facilities, and you can petition for child support.
Congratulations on the successful fornication/unprotected sex! Good news, the baby will be on tricare! Momma is out of luck.
Yes and No.

I am afraid until here is a paternity test with positive results, the Army does not hold to provide anything.

But....in the case that after the child is born and paternity is established, the military father WILL own to provide tri-care medical benifits to that child. Not you, but the child will be covered.

It is very easy to land, once it is proven. And it should cover any previous charges brought about by the pregnancy.

Hope this helps. Source(s): 8 yrs influential duty

The military will not provide you any robustness care unless you are married to him. You can not force the military to help. Additionally, until the child is born you can't force him to assist either.

Perhaps you will get more oblige by asking instead of attempting to force help.
The military will pay cheque for your prenatal care only if you are married to the child's father. If you don't marry him, they will still cover the child's vigour care after birth, but prior to birth they won't cover anything. You will have to budge on Medicaid or marry him. Sorry. Source(s): This is why me and my husband got married, but fortunately we wanted to anyway.
if you are not married.. you do NOT exist to the military and thus own ZERO medical coverage from them.
if you r not married to him there is zilch you can about the health ins. also u can not force the military to relief. i am sorry for the answer but it is true .the only thing you can do is when the child is born bring back a dna test to prove he is the father then he will hold to pay child support and health meticulousness just for the child
court directive first, he may want a DNA test, ay e;east I would since the military makes you settle up child support and the child get shis own ID card.
you are not contained by the military so NO you wont get any healthcare

he has information to go so he will go
he cannot stay lately because his g/f is having a baby
sorry but, you are on your own
Next time you must use Birth control!! or DO NOT sleep next to a soldier
You better get a DNA test since he leaves or a paper signed by him that he is the father or you will be left contained by the dust. The military will only provide health watchfulness for his dependents, if you are not married then it will only be for the pregnancy and his child but not for you after the pregnancy. If he is not inclined then you had better go and get with a lawyer.
nope you arent married they wont distribute you medical care ...they will give medical meticulousness to the baby if ..he puts his name on the bc..but for you are going to have go to court etc to bring it all taken care of...
Actually, if you can prove paternity through paternity testing and sue for child support, yes you can bring military health care for the child and support deduct from his pay, but that doesn't help you in a minute.

On the other hand, going to his C.O. could get him contained by trouble and endanger his career, and that doesn't really help you any.

What you need to do is find a local agency in your nouns that will help you with free officially recognized advice. Try your county Social Services office or Planned Parenthood for a referral to an agency that can sustain. If you live in an area near a 2-1-1 network, like the San Francisco Bay nouns, they can help as well.

Good Luck.
why didnt the thought of a "baby" come up before have sex?

its obvious to the public that soldiers and marines get deployed right?
he will be responsible for prenatal care and child support

I will clarify my answer

Take him to court and sue him. You will win. I know several military men this has happen to and they all lost in court
You could screw him royally if you wanted to. There is an article of the Uniform code of military justice
Any commissioned officer, cadet, or midshipman who is convicted of conduct unattractive an officer and a gentleman shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”

Getting you pregnant and bailing out on you certainly conduct critical of a officer and a gentleman.
All you need do is ring up the Judge advicate's office at the post where he is stationed to attain the ball rolling. Source(s): http://usmilitary.almost.com/od/punitivea…
First past its sell-by date he wont be able to just spring this on you and move off....if you know what battery...unit...company....he is contained by than you can contact his Chain of Command and they will be more than happy to accomodate you in making sure you bring all the health caution and pre-natal care you need. Also when the toddler is born DFAS will take care of garnishing his wage to brand sure your State gets the Child Support he owes you.

But you will have to steal him to court....you will after the baby is born probrably be subjected to a DNA test ( he will most potential say it isnt his to keep his money) and you will enjoy to make sure you dont give surrounded by to some smooth talking BS!

Best of luck...do this immediately and persistantly...save you may be blown off and he will leave for Iraq and you and the child will be stuck contained by a what do I do now situation. Source(s): Sergeant U.S. Army
