If an employer offer robustness insurance benefits, can the employer bring in the hand salary for their dependants?

an employer offers health insurance but for me to incorporate my children to the coverage, they will not pay for any part of the second premium for the children(dependents). is this normal, or is it now a directive for the employer to offer discounted family coverage?

An employer can extend whatever they like. While it is typical for an employer to foot part of the costs for an employee's health coverage, in attendance is no requirement for them to do so for that employee's dependants.
Completely normal, I get 100% payed for me, but I would foot the other member if I had a wife, or kids.
