health-quotes.isgreat.org - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.
The State of Florida does not offer an insurance plan for unemployed or uninsured general public. If you are recently unemployed you should know how to take the Cobra option and verbs your group coverage. You would have to pay the premiums if you choose this picking. If you have any significant health conditions this would be the smart move. It is difficult to find a plan that will cover pre-existing conditions. The principle is that if you were able to purchase coverage to settle up for an existing problem most people would then one and only choose to buy once they got sick. Sort of like buying vehicle insurance after the accident.

Florida did just enact a plan call Cover Florida. These plans are offered by a few insurance companies including BCBSFL. These are guaranteed issue plans. They will not cover a pre-existing condition for 1 year and are not benefit rich. They also cost more than if someone could qualify for a medically underwritten policy.

This can get very confusing. We operate a BCBSFL Insurance Agency and are competent to answer any questions that you may have. Please grain free to email me directly at gerard(a)berlindenys.com or call at 8OO-946-3303. You can also visit us on the network at http://www.berlindenys.com. I look forward to helping you.
