Am looking for any strength insurance plans that adopt preexisting conditions?
Answers: Goodluck!! =( You will want lots of it!
Good luck. I tried this many years ago. I went into the hospital and be told the insurance would not pay my 30 day stay (a lot of $$). I be screwed. Then the fates were mode. I was walking dogs for a friend and met a guy. We dated and he told me he worked at the hospital where I have stayed . By this time they had frozen my assets. Coincidentally, he worked in collections. The supervisor of collections, in fact. It adjectives worked out just fine but, this is a real issue and most commonly if you preexisting is chronic and expensive and you are in the US you end up on Public Assistance and Medicaid. This is another prison because you are unacceptable to work and they don't pay enough to live. Honey, I am sorry. I truly apprehend and it's a messed up deal for people resembling us.
Most will not, and why should they? They are profit making, and know a pre-existing condition will be costly to them.
The only exception, and places to get such a plan, is through a untried employer, because if you get hired, the "group plans" normally accept pre-existing conditions, as part of the group plan your employer pays for.
Another exception, is if you have an existing condition insurance plan, and you switch to another, like if you change job. Then, you sort of transfer to another plan (perhaps Cobra), and they normaly will accept you minus you having to fill out any medical survey, or carry a medical exam, because you previously carried health insurance.
The issue here, is that some people basically go without insurance to gather money. Then, when they find out they have a serious health issue, enunciate cancer, they NOW want to buy insurance. That's not fair.
But, if you were already insured, later it's fair to stay insured.
The best "group plan" for all, would be a "single-payer" system, approaching they have in Canada, and one be everyone was required to belong to. We'd all bring cheaper rates that way, and they'd be no need to ever switch policies, because there'd be merely one choice for everyone. You would still have choices on doctors and hospitals.
Rates would be much cheaper for all too. Because very soon, about 20% of most insurance costs go for administrative and marketing costs.
Because employer would save money too, they could lower costs of doing business, and prices for products, like cars or bread would spatter. Consumers would save money shopping, and American products could compete better in foreign market. (most of the world already have national health aid for their citizens)
And another 20% goes to paying higher hospital and doctor claims, to cover the uninsured. Many doctors and hospitals do not get better full costs of treating the uninsured, or those who lost their jobs, cannot pay for their vigour care, like emergency room costs.
So, those near insurace are actually already paying for the uninsured, in their premiums. That's why we want a LARGER, cheaper national insurance plan.
Then, you wont have to look for a plan that covers pre-existing conditions, and you'd get the lowest price, in need shopping around.
There are a few. But you'll settle a lot more than anyone else.
It's all give or take a few money in the end.
unfortunately most now don't except or enjoy extremely outrageous premiums good luck, i would try locating and calling some insurance companies and getting quotes, also speak with your doctors and see what insurances plans they except. Source(s): current nursing student
