Answers: 'they' don't check. They accept the address you give them as the truth and will communication the policy and bill to that address. BUT, if you start submitting bills from 2 states away they may become a little curious.
It's very rare that a trial health insurance policy will cover a pregnancy that started within 6 to 12 months from the start date of the policy. And I don't know of any that would cover a pregnancy that exists when you bought the policy.

But check the details of your policy to see how they treat pre-existing conditions and pregnancy.
