Do I own to enroll my newborn contained by vigour insurance beforehand she is born?

Im 8 months pregnant and I wanted to know if I have to enroll my child in health insurance past she is born?
Answers:
Contact your health plan inside 30 days of your child's birth and request a special enrollment to cover the event.

Newborns may not be exluded from health insurance for pre-existing conditions if they are enrolled within a health plan within 30 days of birth Source(s): 35 years insurance industry experience
Call your insurance company or ask them. Newborns are usually covered a few days on the mother's coverage because you can't really do much beside a baby before it is born, it doesn't properly exist or have a birthdate.

No, because you do not own a birth date or Social Security number for your baby.

you will need to join her to your policy within 31 days of birth.

she will NOT automatically be added to the policy ...
You cannot add your baby until she is born. You will unanimously have 30 days to add her.
