BCBS of Florida, Health Insurance at work, Expert Needed !?

2 times now, BCBS of Florida has conspired near my employer to cut my benefits. I have an on-going cancer claim. Sooner or later, if they preserve "cutting benefits" I'll be with no benefits. My claim is still stirring, since 2007. They have done this twice with no notification to me. This costs me more out of my pocket on the co insurance and deductibles.
I do not reason by law, they can cut my benefits this way. Help !

It's relatively common as others have said for a company to lower their benefits to lower their costs. It potential has nothing directly to do beside you or your claims, but if the company is getting hit with rate increases (which they would be hit with wihtout your claimes) they're going to look to cut costs.

If your employer is changing the benefit plan for adjectives employees, then they would be required to trademark those same changes for you.

Many employers are raise deductibles and coinsurance for employee benefit plans as a way to keep hold of plans going despite rising premiums. Since this is a group health plan through an employer, they would need to spawn the same changes to everyone.

If that's what's arranged, then its legal and there's nil you can do about it. An employer isn't obligated to offer vigour insurance at all. They are certainly free to net changes to the plan they voluntarily choose to offer as a benefit. Or even abolish the health insurance entirely. (Exception being, as expected, if there were a association contract in place to offer a specific set of benefits at a undisputed deductible/coinsurance level.)

If you were individual singled out and changes were just being made to your deductible/coinsurance, that would be in vandalism of the law. A group plan has to be equal for adjectives employees of the same classification who elect like peas in a pod plan type.

I suspect in this case that your employer is simply altering the entire group's plan. You can of course verify that if you wish, for your own peace of mind.

First of all, how are they cutting your benefits? Are they varying just your benefits or are they changing the plan adjectives together? Do you have a patient attention to detail manager? When does your plan year begin? Everything will restart respectively plan year, so you'll have to do deductibles, etc, all over again, and if they revise the plan for all employees, that's in their right.
