were wondering if i could be added to that when we get married, (fiance is already cut of his plan). if not is there any right low income health insurance with parenthood benifits? we make about 11,000 a year
Answers:
No, you can't be added to your fiance's father's plan, and your fiance will most plausible not be eligible for it either any more after you are married.

Unless one of your employers offer health insurance, there aren't probable any low price plans around. Check with your local Blue Cross Blue Shield to see what they have.

Good luck
Of course you can't be added to the insurance policy. And once you carry married, your fiance will lose the insurance also.

Neither of you would qualify to be a dependent for health insurance purposes. When a couple gets married, they are on their own.

Either you or your fiance will requirement to get a job that comes next to health insurance benefits. Ideally, you should have strength insurance in place before you bring back pregnant. Otherwise you are seriously limiting your options.

If you're already pregnant, you have 3 option:
1) You (or your husband, once you get married) will need to own a job that comes with condition insurance benefits.
2) Apply for Medicaid.
3) Save up and pay for prenatal care/delivery yourself.

By the way, if you're making $11K per year combined, one or both of you will obligation to get a different job anyhow. It would be darn in the vicinity impossible to raise a child on that. Hell, it would be darn near impossible for 2 adults to live on that even in need children.

So basically...if you're not pregnant, there are a few things you call for to take care of formerly getting pregnant. And if you are pregnant already...yikes, you have a hell of a tough road ahead of you. Source(s): 15 years working for medical providers and health insurance companies

Once you're married, neither of you will qualify as dependents for his plan.

You'll enjoy to look to your employers. You're going to need job, if you're going to get married. Health insurance, except for welfare health insurance, is NOT base on your income, and private maternity benefits are EXPENSIVE, and have waiting period before you can get pregnant - close to 9 - 12 months.

I'd strongly suggest, if between the two of you you only make $11,000 a year, you should both still be living beside your parents until you can support yourselves, and NOT getting married.
So it have been established through some of the other answers that you probably cannot be added to the father-in-laws health insurance.

If your pregnant you will probably qualify for medical assistance through the county or state. The babe once born would probably also be eligible if you are. Source(s): Work in health insurance.
