As a 25 yr outdated single mannish surrounded by VA, can you be denied condition insurance because I am expecting a child?

Answers: No, you just attach them as a dependent on your coverage. It will be extra a month added on to what you pay for yourself, but you shouldn't have to make the addition of them on til the baby is born. Does the mother have medical coverage or Medicaid? The babe-in-arms will be covered I think up to the age of 5 if the mother is on Medicaid.
A 23 year old married masculine in GA can be denied health insurance due to the reality that he is an expectant father.... that man is my husband!

We are having the absolute most difficult time finding strength insurance for him. We have discovered that since I am already covered with BCBS, they CANNOT deny him access to their coverage for that pretext alone.

However, all other insurance companies see that factor as an automatic decline of service.

The reason man that, even if you plan on doing it differently, they do not want to cover the child once he or she is born if he or she is unhealthy. So, denying the father is the only style they can protect themselves. I know... it completely sucks.
what within is not enough info here to answer, what ins, state from a job are you married what what, who denied you why did they influence you were denied
You can't be denied coverage unless you own some circumstance/condition that would disqualify you regardless of the pregnancy. The mother can be denied coverage under your plan if you are not married. The child can be added to your coverage after he/she is born and paternity is established.
Individual health insurance can reject you for ANYTHING they want. However, under GROUP insurance, they cannot reject you for anything. Have you looked into the strange Blue Cross Blue Shield plan? It’s nothing fancy, but they won’t reject you. And it’s at least some sort of coverage which is better than none. But still expect to reward a good amount of money.

Pregnancy CAN be viewed from some companies as a pre-existing condition. However, you’re a man, and it shouldn’t kind a difference, unless you tried adding your girlfriend/spouse carrying child. It could matter...

i didnt know men could get pregnant.

a woman can be denied vigour insurance because pregnancy is pre-existing. you can apply for medicaid and/or family health plus
Many expectant mothers don't even obtain it, let alone expectant fathers. It's not a free for adjectives you know.
If you managed to procure pregnant you don't need insurance. Call Jerry Springer or one of those guys. They will pay you big bucks.
Wow it's a miracle!
No
The child can be denied because there has to be an decree of paternity before the child can be covered.
Health Insurances can no longer count pregnancy as a preexisting condition so if you come late into an insurance then they own to cover it.

Same thing happened to me. Source(s): Knee Deep In Diapers
