I worked during most of my time within college as a full time student (even during my student teaching I worked 35+ hours per week). I could have get insurance through my job. Source(s): As a full time student you have a great deal of free time even with heavy class loads. Also, most colleges enjoy free clinics that will write you prescriptions.
Nope because I got health insurance through the arts school... and boy was I glad that I did too.... as it paid 100% of any test that were taken at the student health center (at the time that expected a blood test, x-ray, and an ekg) AND paid 80% of my CAT-scan when I go to the emergency room.... all that to tell me that I have pleurisy.... :/

ADD: Honestly, as much as I am on this forum in this very booth, I have never seen this examine.... I guess it comes up when I am either in a different screened-off area, sleeping, on my way home from work, or when I am out enjoying the fresh nouns (well semi-fresh air) and real life.
Its funny how individuals say "I will keep my healthcare". Trust me, if you acquire cancer or some serious illness either your premiums will drive you in debt or your insurance company will drop you like a bad obsession.

no. i was lucky. my rich republican father have great insurance that kept me on until i graduated or turned 22, whichever came first.

I am a college student and I'm sick at the moment.

Thankfully, I can just pop into the clinic on campus, show my health card, and obtain fast efficient form care without paying a dime.
