Answers:
Health care is cheap if you deny trouble, ration care and drive all the companies out of business.
Honey only God could integer out this health care mess and it would probably donate him a headache. If the government gets the upper foot on our health care it will be the shutting down of America as we know it. I heard that the first year if you don't take their insurance they will charge you a $1,900 fine and after three years it will be a $25,000 fine and one year contained by jail. My thought is if poor people can't afford it presently, how on earth can they afford the fines? I'm all for robustness care, but who can agree on the right plan? I think we should put a charity hospital contained by all 50 states for the people that don't enjoy insurance and have transportation for them. That would probably be cheaper than this zillion dollar plan.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, health insurance premiums would be HIGHER if this ridiculous legislation passed. I agree. Our system cannot run ANYTHING efficiently. And if the health insurance industry runs on a 2% profit outside edge, I would expect that health insurance premiums would have to move about up around 25% just to cover government leftovers.
Ralph...do you really think it is coincidence that they are now suggesting pap-smears every other year in a minute or claiming that Mammograms are "potentially risky". This is a preclude to government rationing. It is a preclude to the Death Panels as Sarah Palin call them. And insurance companies in the US deny less caution than governments in other countries enjoy been. Do not believe your messiah and HIS media. Do some research.
Coyote...WTF do you consider the "public option" is designed to do? It would wipe out private insurance and then the public leeway would be the only option and even the CBO say insurance premiums would go UP!
Well now what...ARE YOU #$%#ing KIDDING? They legislate base on greed anymore. It has NOTHING to do with what is right for the country...newly what they can get from the highest bidder for their votes. NOT OUT TO MAKE A BUCK? You win the most romantic comment of the year award.
bluechri...you can be in denial all you want, but nobody denies that their profit border is small. They talk about the total amount of profit. When you hold a small margin on 1/6 of the entire economy of the US, that produces one hell of big dollar figure, but the margin of profit IS VERY SMALL compared to most other industries.
Dick....so what have caused profits to increase 1000 percent? Consider that their profit margin is 2.2%. If premiums own gone up less than 100%, and expenses have risen, where on earth do you get 1000% profit increase...YOUR MATH DOES NOT WORK. It is a manipulation of statistics for the purpose of shock effect.
First the oil companies are evil. Stock holder owned. Then Wall Street is evil. Stock holder owned. Then the sports car companies are evil. Stock holder owned only the stock holders had their stock stolen by the Obama direction. Then the Banks and bankers were evil. Stock holder owned. Unless you are Goldman Sacs and contributed big bucks to Obama and the Democrats. Now the Health Insurance companies are evil, making less than 3 percent profit. Federal tenet requires that these companies set aside a substantial amount to cover the cost of Health Care for their subscribers. Stock Holder owned. I am a little surprised that so many simply want to go along with a Government explicitly intent on taking over the majority of private industry. Every week it is the left wing of the Government that is ejection and giving nothing but a larger deficit, higher taxes and job loss numbers that have not been see in 38 years. We still have the Cap and Trade Bill that will increase your utility bills by 90 percent a month. So soon, I surmise, from what have transpired so far, the utility companies will become evil. Stock holder owned.
It's going to be free. Just ask any of the uneducated member of the liberal side.
The smarter liberals know better. They simply take the costs off the standard ledger and put it in the unfunded liabilities justification. What's another 50 trillion if you already owe 60 trillion?
First of all it will not be cheaper. Nothing the political affairs runs, runs well. We will be taxed up the put money on end to pay for this. The unadulterated question should be, how will the QUALITY of health comfort change when the government get their greedy paws on 1/6 of our economy. This is nought but another power grab by this administration. We will adjectives suffer if this passes.
It will cost $8000 more per family circle over 3 years
Common sense and a little bit of objectivity is adjectives you need to answer your own question.
If Obamacare cuts 400 billion out of medicare and lowers the compensation medicare is allowed to offer doctors and hospitals, what will that do to premiums fo rmedicare supplements and advantage plans? It will drive them through the roof for a segment of the population that is mostly retired and on restricted income.
When tens of millions of new "victims" are added to the list of insured including preexisting conditions, the terminally not a hundred percent, and people that use the emergency room for a hangnail, what will that do to the price of healthcare in broad and specifically to premiums? It will force them higher. It is a basic rule of economics. If the emergency goes up without an increase surrounded by supply, the price skyrockets.
Well since the government said medicare would cost 7 billion by 1990 and it actually cost almost 60 billion...what do you consider the savings will be? those that don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it.
P.S. going on for 60% of Americans get their current medical health insurance from the organization or non profit companies...betcha didn't know that...but it is those evil insurance companies fault, isn't it?
Check the CBO scores. It would cost the average American own flesh and blood of four making 60K a year $3,000 MORE a year for health care! And the CBO other underestimates the actual cost.
The most reasonable expectation is that it will be closer to the prices OTHER countries that own parallel public/private systems than it is today;

(If you like, I can contact your employer and inform them you would like any adjectives pay raises to be 6% smaller amount than those of your peers? After all, it's "only" 6%)
Sorry I don't believe Your association . But thanks for providing it never the less.
It will be more expensive if the government gets involved, as other. Insurance companies make less than 10% edge, a lot less than most industries.
Well, it depends on how you look at it. Even with a public option, the money to repay claims has to come from somewhere. If it isn't from the premiums paid, it will be from our taxes remunerated instead. Either way, the people lapse up paying for it one way or another. The greatest benefit will come to those who do not have the money to wages for it. They will basically get it free while the rest of us take-home pay for theirs as well as our own. And, based on how restructured Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid has been, I suspect it will finishing up costing those of us who actually pay taxes a together lot more. Oh well, Obama wasn't lying when he said he wanted to spread the riches around was he?
The Government is not out to product a buck
.
They print up all the Big Bucks they want
.
health insurance will be really cheap, the organization has devised a formula for how much everyone will pay. its base on a persons age/sex/weight/location/aliments and chances of adjectives complications, so people who are overweight pay more, as in good health as smokers and those who are at risk for cancer and other stuff. so people in cities beside alot of cars are at a great risk for alot of diseases so those will pay more as well. overall it will start out cheap and consequently just get added on to. its adjectives income based as well, so those who brand name more will be forced to pay more then someone who make less with impossible to tell apart problems and possible future problems.
Hm
Yeah, 3% profit is greedy.
Libbies are all alike with their simpleton mental methodology.
Put political affairs in control, and welcome to mediocrity and the loss of innovation. Nothing hot has emerged from socialist form care, except the most mediocre way of doing things, long lines and severely ration care.
Want to see a doctor, be prepared to lose an entire day of work. (Oh, lately what libbies really want...more time off from work).
There is really no proposal to get insurance companies out of it unfortunately. The democrats cave in to the right as usual.
(and despite their cave within they still get attacked as being "socialist" or what ever other "dirty" word conservatives use these days)
Seeing that insurance companies average 2.2% profit later how could the number be that big?
And know the government will spend more than it has to administer it's bill.
