Haha "Princess" ... interesting. No, you do not own to keep her on your insurance.
Why don't you call her and tell her that you need to not keep her on your insurance when you renew, since she can get insurance thu her work and both of you hold decided to keep your finances separate. Or voice she cannot get on till open enrollment and to be precise after you renew, see if you can keep on yours and see if you can take sour when she is able to sign up at her employer. Or ask that she reimburse her portion you pay out of your paycheck if she requirements you to keep her on your policy. Right now even though separated, you are legitimately married till you divorce. If you plan on getting a divorce soon, then you can legally bring her off once proven you are no longer married.
good luck
Most states, if you're not divorced, you're married.
If you DON'T hold her on your insurance, and she incurs medical bills, AND you live in a community property state, then YOU can be held lawfully responsible for her bills. Me, I think it's smarter to keep her on the policy until the divorce go through.
Can't quite figure out why a guy would bid himself "Princess", though.
