What is wrong next to the political affairs giving us another choice for strength insurance?
If the American people really do want a choice in condition insurance, then let after choose between private or government provided insurance. Let the health comfort reform pass and permit the American people choose which one they want..

Because they enjoy done such a horrible job running everthing they have be put in charge of so far. If you don't think so dawdle for 15-20 years till you or someone in your family is in position to retire and check out how well social security worked out for them.And beneath original intent our government be not suppose to interfere in these ways.

Yes, exactly... to be able to choose how you are covered is a much better perception... even if the government provided insurance was close to a safety net for those that don't enjoy or can't afford private insurance. Everybody deserves health care, it's approaching oxygen... and just as important as the right to freedom of speech.
Luckily, I am an Australian... and we own exactly that here... a government run health protection system for everyone called Medicare and several private health funds to chose from as in good health. It's not perfect, but much better (I think) than a private only system... govern by money and greed. We have no problem getting in to see a doctor, have a doctor of our choice, there can be some delays contained by (non-urgent) surgery but all emergencies are treated and stabilised smartly at the first hospital (where I understand that often within the US, an ambulance is often turned away from hospitals to travel further away). Medicare provides that "safety-net" that private health simply cannot or will not know how to cover - it's for everyone, and it doesn't cost anywhere near the amount people surrounded by the US already pay in taxes!
