Why do conservatives against a gov't condition insurance program...?
keep using the Post Office as an example against the govt health insurance? My parents work for the Post Office and they vote the government gives them a subsidy to run and next the rest has to be paid by the travel of stamps and shipping costs. With that deal, what's so bad in the order of the way the govt insurance program if it will be funded like the Post Office.

For the post department that subsidy is paid for by us, the taxpayer, government creates no magnificence. And that subsidy alone (post office) is 8 billion + per year and going deeper everyday.

Now for health strictness takeover. They estimate the cost to be 3.6 trillion dollars in 20 years. Where is that money?
Lets not forget how accurate their estimates are also, at its start, surrounded by 1966, Medicare cost $3 billion. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that Medicare would cost only about $ 12 billion by 1990 (a numeral that included an allowance for inflation). This was a supposedly "conservative" estimate. But in 1990 Medicare in actuality cost $107 billion. It has increased ever since.
So what is 3.6 trillion x 10? And where is that money again?
Why are you on the left so much for government run form care ? Why do you think the management is your savior ? The Government said they would end Poverty 45 years ago , improve Education 30 years ago , wrapping up our dependency on foreign oil 35 years ago and they also promised to end the FICA TAX after WW2. Did they do any of those things ? Well did they ?------------ps the Federal Government spends 85 cents of every due dollar on itself . Think about it!
Because while you hold companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the government does not enjoy to make ANY money. Companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shield hold to make billions of dollars to pay for their hype and employees. These companies cannot compete with a company that have no overhead costs. Look at the reason the postal service is still around, it is hundreds of billions of dollars in debt, but is still running because it is a short time ago eating away taxpayer dollars. Eventually the American People will not have any money moved out, and your parents like the millions of other government workers will be out of a livelihood.
Because EVERYTHING should know how to be deficit neutral...period. If a program is not going to be capable of pay for itself in funds, it should not be run. What the health care restructuring bill is...is a handout to those who do not have. If it were in the region of health insurance, the health insurance companies already agreed to insure society with pre existing conditions. This is about the poor....again. Obama have a thing about social even-handedness...and unless insuring these people can be TOTALLY offset by smaller amount money being spent to pay for ER visit and long term care for diseases, we should not be doing it.
The only entity that stands in the way of a public leeway is greed and the for profit system.
What is unfortunate is that Obama himself will not fight for it.

2) Allow me to translate your parent's explanation so you can understand that facts bringing up the rear it. Guys backed-up with guns and badges force everyone to remuneration into the Post Office even if they NEVER use it. Even so, they cannot survive without special laws preventing others from doing what they do. In remaining service areas where on earth there IS competition - well - the P.O. is really no competition surrounded by those areas. Even in their "protected" market (1st class mail) the P.O. hires out colossal portions of the work to "the competition" (FedEx moves tons of USPS mail from city to city) because they are simply incapable of doing their job on their own - even though population are literally FORCED to pay them.
If that sounds like a fine opening to get ANYTHING done, you're obviously a Democrat.
