The private insurance industry effectively wrote this bill through their employee Max Baucus. Even the "public option" have been gutted to appease them because they knew they couldn't compete surrounded by an actual free market. What's called the free open market these days is actually corporate protectionism. It take big government to keep the private industry from falling apart. Wake up and stop watching Faux and CNN. This bill is going to force us to buy private robustness insurance from the same companies that have be screwing us for years.
The government won't pay for it. Your children and grand-children will.
