"The most modern rumor is that an individual could be fined or jailed if they founder to purchase vigour insurance, if?

Answers: This isn't a complete sentence, and it's not a question, either.
Peg,

It is not a rumor but as you state it it's not exactly right. Under the proposed legislation you would be required to purchase health insurance, it is call an individual mandate. If you fail to purchase health insurance you are subject to a fine not young offenders` institution time.

Where the jail time would come in is if you refuse to get health insurance and consequently also refused to pay the fine. Refuse to foot the fine and you could go to jail.

Similar situation to the requirement to wage your income tax if you owe the IRS money and you refuse to payment your income tax you ultimately could go to lock away...

Not today.
As part of the healthcare reform process, to be exact one of the options that is anyone considered.
It is NOT a rumor! The bill contains provisions for steep fines for those who do not obtain health insurance. As of the second I read, it did not include jail sentences. Of course, the bill is not final or passed, so everything is subject to change - or abject thrashing.
You are admitting that it is a rumor - and so I would not worry almost it.
Thanks.
Don't be ridiculous.
