I don't want him to do anything about it! Government have no business meddling with my insurance.
Belle - you involve to educate yourself on socialized healthcare... you're dreaming if you think it will be as dutiful as you say. You'll have smaller quantity treatment options, longer waits, smaller quantity medications, and pay a hell of abundantly more. Do some research on European socialized healthcare.
I have not lived in Europe so I whip your word for it that UK is fortunate, but my wife's family lives in Czech Republic and they are not as fortunate and I hear stories from them something like having to wait days to see a doctor or programme tests, or having to travel hours to the city simply to get proper care, etc... Also everything you said that you get in England you can get here as all right and you don't have to pay taxes for it, you merely have to have a position that pays health insurance. So why nationalize the system and pay more surrounded by taxes? No thanks.
National health insurance should be implemented surrounded by this country. We are the only developed nation who doesn't think it essential to provide health coverage to all it's citizens. Yes we would earnings more in taxes, but in the long run it would be smaller amount out of your pocket than what you pay now for insurance premiums, deductibles and co pays. I would willingly pay twice what I do now, if it expected better social services, like free health strictness for ALL! It is a disgrace that we have the nerve to call upon this the greatest country on Earth when so many people can't run to the doctor when they really need to. We should be ashamed of how we treat our citizens. We as a people, want to wake up and realize there is a better, more cost significant way to provide for our citizens.
John, I did do my research sweetie. I lived in England. My husband is British. It is a stone cold myth that they hold limited access to different health comfort options. If you get sick, you are surrounded by to see your regular doctor usually that same day. If it is the weekend, the NHS has doctors that construct house calls, free of charge. My husband broke both his ankles, a yr and half next he ended up needing reconstructive surgery. They programmed it so quickly he had to reschedule it so he could find things in order..ie work notify etc etc. There is nothing that you would need to hold done that the NHS cant cover. My husband dad (in England) ended up needing a step maker (long story as to why he needed it, so I wont bore you with the details) and immediately he has a state of the art pace initiator that isn't even offered in this country.
I have lived within a system with national health system, own you? It is a myth perpetuated by the ignorant contained by this country that in a national health system services are harder to receive, and the quality is even poorer. Nothing could be further from the truth.
It's not his responsibility.
If you have expensive insurance that doesn't cover anything, why don't you switch your insurance? Are you seriously too idle to do this? Do you expect the government to do everything for you?
The last entity we need is the government involved contained by our health care any more than they are already.
It is not in the brief description of the President to do anything about health nurture. Get your own health care, buy insurance or die.
It is not up to the American nation to pay for your health prudence.
Do you want to be taxed to pay for other associates and have to pay for your own attention to detail as well? I for one am tired of paying for those who choose not to take consideration of themselves.
Charity should be the province on churches not the government.
Tomorrow. Happy very soon?
The issue of medical coverage in the US is a HUGE problem. Its one of many he's working on. It for a time much to expect him to sort out everything in just 6 months.
One thing at a time. I know people are complaining give or take a few taxes and money that he's spending, but it's all in an try to get to this.
He is working on it. Haven't you heard adjectives the b*tching about "Universal Health Care" and "National Health Care"? It will not be an easy duty.
Uh, I guess you didn't hear what he said hundreds of time during his campaign; or what he's said and done since.
"If you've got vigour care you're happy next to, you can keep it. If not, you'll be able to get hold of it."
Recently, he convened the group that's going to develop health care reorganization -- with representatives from providers and consumers.
His stimulus includes money to reduce strength care costs and improve use.
In short, he's working on it, but it will take some time.
he needs to stay out of the approach when it comes to health insurance, if you cant afford it get a strange job.
He is doing something roughly it. Instant gratification is not guaranteed by the Constitution, and seldom available in Washington.
There are a couple more pressing issues to buy and sell with at the present time.
He was solely talking about that posterior when he was running for office.
He haven't come up with an answer all the same
He's working on it.
If you'd ever had to concord with Medicaid or Medicare you wouldn't be asking this question, you'd be axiom "I hope he keeps his hands bad it". Every single thing the government get it's grimy hands on goes south and the track account in those two programs should prove to any one that the same would hold true beside an all encompassing universal (socialist) form care program. In the years that my handicapped daughter was surrounded by the medicaid system I was threatened no less than 3 times because I refuse to have her "fixed" so she couldn't get pregnant and her caseworker be constantly forcing herself into our private lives. An appointment to see a specialist took months and because of that I nearly lost her twice.
It will be nothing but an invitation to the government to dictate to ancestors how they will live and even if they will live.
Smokers will be fined for smoking (Taxes and anti-smoking laws are already trying to force this)
Obese people, and even some who are not obese will be fined for not losing counterweight. (Haven't you noticed the recent reports decrying this?)
The elderly will be told when they are no longer allowed to live. (Assisted suicide is immediately acceptable?)
The handicapped will be told if they are allowed to live. (Remember Terri Shiavo?)
People will be told when and if they can have children and how lots they will be allowed to have and abortions will be required for anyone who does not adhere. (China set the standard for this atrocity)
And the register goes on and on.. and this doesn't even include what would be required of those in the medical pasture for such a program.
Do I wish health insurance be more affordable? Of course, but I do NOT want the government involved in it.
