How can I treat an ear infection short strength insurance?
I have no health insurance and cannot hold my son to a dr and do not have money to pay a huge ER bill. He have a nasty ear infection. What can I do to treat it so no damage is cause? He is 18 months old.
Answers:
He is going to need an antibiotic to treat the infection, and you do not want to produce any permanent damage. The ER may be expensive, but they cannot deny treatment freshly because you do not have insurance. Do you have any urgent concern places? Its not the ER, but you also do not need an appointment.
You do not say-so where you live.
But an ear infection is nothing to disappear to home remedies for a child! You can cause permanent disrupt if you leave it untreated, including hearing and speech problems.
Try to find a step in clinic of some kind, or a county hospital. The child is deserving of proper guardianship.
Here is Arizona, the local Walgreen's even have walk surrounded by clinics, you do not need insurance. My daughters boyfriend just go to one for the flu, it cost $75.00, and $15.00 for some antibiotics.
Please, please, please, do not let the ear infection go. Source(s): I enjoy a friend that did not treat her daughters correctly, she was an "earth mother" at the time, and did not construe a doctor was needed. Her daughter is now a audible range impaired adult, next to a speech disorder because of the damage to her ears.
You can't cure an infection at home. Can you get state condition insurance for your son? He's going to need a prescription to get rid of it. But until you go and get in give him Tylenol and try some OTC drops or heat oil. Warm compresses are nice too...try throwing his blanket in the dryer and lay him down with that ear on the blanket.
Best Wishes...and good luck! Oh avoid Milk! Source(s): Mom of 3 and I suffer from horrible middle ear infections.
