There are just 2 reasons why anyone would be abjectly poor.
Themselves or Someone else.
If someone doesn't strive to succeed or they hold made choices in life which restrict them (like single mothers God bless them) consequently they have what they have . To want what someone else have achieved is covetousness. To expect someone else to pay for their choices is foolish
If someone is downtrodden by a warlord or of the evil...later God bless them and I will try to help
Jesus loves the poor the most. He and God are completely against wealth and riches, and Jesus preached that those who have any money, should always donate their money to the needy when asked. I wonder how tons christians follow that rule today, or if they just look the other way, contained by disguist, as they walk on by, like most race do.

Of course he does! He says "blessed are the poor!" I deliberate.. I don't know that much about Jesus, but I know enough to variety that judgment.
