Am I forced to hold Student Health Insurance?

Its a public school
Answers:
Not that I would suggest anyone do this: I once knew a student that didn't want to wages for the school's health insurance but didn't have her own insurance. A course she be in required that she have an insurance card. So, she found one online using Google similes and photoshopped it. It worked.

That said, you may think it's money you could spend better on other things now but come up need a visit to the clinic and not having any lolly to pay for it and you will change your mind. It just takes one serious outbreak of shingles to cost you about as much or more than that insurance.
Your not required to but I would really recommend it. There aren't heaps things in life that are more dear then health insurance. You also acquire it dirt cheap through your school. You will probably pay around 1/3 of what you would customarily pay for it if you had to purchase it privately.

If any of your parents have health insurance you are still allowed to be covered by their plan while you are at college. As long as you are still a fulltime student your parents strength insurance is required to cover you.
