As an employer, why would I verbs offering private condition insurance if the government's prospect is cheaper?
Isn't it a bit of a lie to say you can hang on to your private coverage? Seems employer funded plans will dwindle quickly. I certainly can't compete next to an entity that can run up debt endlessly. If I did that, the banks and establishment would shut me down. I am not saying a government plan would be unpromising, but at least be honest.

Well, that assumes the government does a great job. If elected representatives is wasteful and inefficient, as conservatives claim, then ethnic group will be fleeing for private sector plans. Also, private plans can offer added value. So possibly they remain more expensive, but they now have to provide better services to retain consumers.
