Where is the ACLU for the smokers anyone unreasonably tax to foot for crooked immigrant form insurance?
I say when one particular group of associates is taxed IT'S DISCRIMINATION!! What do you think?

They are on the side of illegals.
Well, I'm not in favor of using American export tax dollars to provide anything for people who have no permitted entitlement to be here in the first place, but smokers are not being tax, tobacco is. The government is not imposing a excise on a group of people, it's imposing a toll on a product. If people don't want to pay the toll, then they don't have to buy the product. Smoking is not a civil choice as it is not recognized by the law as a protected right or privilege anybody have, so I don't see this being a case for the ACLU. Only associates can face legal nouns, not behaviors. Smoking is not a state of being, it's an activity that society choose to do. The Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution says that people are equal, but that does not imply things that people do are equal.
The ACLU would support it because the charge supports illegal aliens.
I agree that in times of crisis the first point that should be taxed should be commodities. It gives culture the option to make their own, and possibly flog there own ;).
i'm a smoker, but i actually agree next to raising the prices for all ill things. i think they should do the same next to alcohol and bad for you food. if fruits, veggies and lean meats be cheap and junk food was expensive, i know it would give support to me. i haven't been priced out of being competent to afford cigarettes yet, but i wish they would get them expensive enough that i'd have to quit. i'd agree beside you if the one group of people being tax were being tax for a necessity, but you don't need cigarettes, you're addicted to them.
Well they wont be getting any more of my money!! The prices are ridiculous! I quit!!
