Why does it matter? Americans should enjoy the right to life liberty and the pursuit of optimism. You can't live very well or exceptionally long without the adequate strength care that modern medicine can provide.

"Lack of form insurance causes roughly 18,000 unnecessary deaths every year surrounded by the United States. Although America leads the world in spending on form care, it is the only sumptuous, industrialized nation that does not ensure that all citizens have coverage." About 40 million of them can afford blue cross/blue shield and choose not to buy it. They buy cars and cell phones and LCD TV's instead.

The other 10 million are covered under medicare
Now it's 50 million? Why does this number seem to be growing contained by direct proportion to the resistance to Federal interference in health keeping? 6 months ago it was 40 million, a year ago 30 million. Why is it no one can present an honest or accurate accounting of the people who have no robustness care BUT WANT the Feds to insure them?
I am a average middle class American who has Insurance through my available job & I don't want anyone monkeying with that. I pay my share & my employer pays into it also.

I will wish how much of my money to give to charity, NOT YOU!

And I don't want a goddamned nickel of my taxes going to giving health coverage to so-called "undocumented immigrants". They are ILLEGAL aliens who broke OUR law to get here & continue to break the imperative by staying here.

If you want to give more of your money to the others get strength care, knock yourself out but STOP TRYING TO STEAL MY MONEY TO DO IT!

Patriot : Interesting stats. What are the contributing factors to the annihilation rates cited?
Do they account for parental abuse?

If the Canadian system is so good, consequently why do so many Canadians come here for treatment?

Let's look at sheer numbers, shall we?
1. They do not have the population we own.
2. What is their ratio of doctors to population?
3. How many patients are denied treatment because a govt beaurocrat said it cost too much, or the patient is too elderly?
Your mother needs a kidney transplant within 2 mos, she's 65. Another woman, 40 also desires one but has 9 mos. There is only 1 available. Would you approaching to be the one to tell your mother she doesn't get the transplant because some toadie within a small office somewhere decided the younger woman is more viable?
My Nephew lived surrounded by one those wonderful European lands with universal coverage. He have to wait 5 years to have a deviated septum fixed. Does that nouns good to any of you ?
My Parents had retired to that same ecstasy of health care until my Father's vigour so deteriorated that they had to return to the US and bought coverage here.
They weren't rich folks, just blue-collar workers resembling me. If they could do it and I can do it w/out Uncle Sam or Obama sticking their fingers in the pie, then greatly more can, than are willing to.

BTW Canada, Cuba and Japan aren't in Western Europe.
Mostly poor, black and poor. Did I mention poor? Ya, well, they are poor or unwell or mentally unfit for today's society. And poor, very poor and just a moment or two poor. Often not well connected to society, dirt poor, homeless poor and defeated poor.

No CEO's that I am aware of, no rich guys just paying their own path either. Certainly no politicians and definitely no Government body.
Actually, many people apply and are turned down because of preexisting conditions.

Health insurance is a company. A company's largest goal is make money, not to attention to detail. If they think you will cost them too much, you will be turned down.

And I'm afraid Westhill is right. Do you know that we rank close by Cuba in our health keeping? LOL We are a little above them, but not much. That's pretty pathetic for a "christian" nation that claims to carefulness so much for human rights.

It's not 50 million, its more approaching 300 billion. Why limit health insurance to Americans.

Don't folks everywhere 'deserve' it?
Those next to little money, or who work in jobs near low pay and no insurance cover from the employer, or those with pre-existing medical conditions. Such as type one diabetics, those near holes in their hearts etc...

First of adjectives, too many people do not know that Obama is not going to bring contained by universal healthcare. He wants to trade name insurance more available to all.

Second, of course wide-reaching health-cover sucks. That is why we in Western Europe have it. We suppose, hmm, our healthcare system sucks. I know, lets keep it. I guess to be precise the same with Japan and Canada as very well.

FACT - the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet.

FACT - the US has higher departure rates for kids aged under five than western European countries with wide-ranging health coverage.

That means that a unresponsive American four year old would have have a better chance of life if they be born in Canada, France, Cuba, Germany, Japan etc, all of which own universal health coverage.

EDIT - As a child, I have an anterior cerebral abcess. Treated in our national healthcare system, it required brain surgery. It started next to orbital cellulities, then frontal sinusitis, then the brain abcess. I have to have brain surgery and then a correction of my squint. In the USA, I would not gain health cover as a result for anything to do with my brain and also would find it complex to find insurance to deal with my eyes. Pre-existing condition is what would be said. In the UK, not solely am I alive, and without that squint, but I continue to win healthcare.
The NHS has saved the duration of my youngest brother, and has taken care of the eyesight of my other one. And they do not own to worry about increase insurance payments due to problems as kids that be nothing to do with lifestyle.
Seriously, say aloud you are a type one diabetic and try to get insurance. Go on. Try it... Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care…

They are including illegals. One of the biggest reasons to be against it as written.
A lot of doctors don't have health insurance. Very few hospitals provide their organization with health insurance. Ironic isn't it?
