Why souldnt americans enjoy free robustness insurance?
Answers: Because the countries that DO present free health care hold HORRIBLE health care providers. When you transport in incentive out of being a doctor, the best and brightest minds will do something else. Ask ANYONE from the UK where on earth they would rather see a doctor for a life in your favour procedure....the US or UK?
There ain't no free lunch. Somebody has to pay. Even if we have a national health plan, it would not be free. It would be paid for surrounded by the form of taxes.
If our government created a national health plan approaching Canada and European countries have, healthcare in this country would decline. The system would dictate what treatments we get, and when.
I am being treated for stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. My oncologist is from Canada. She come to the US to practice medicine because, she told me, she wants to own the ability to give her patients the treatments they want; not what the government says they can enjoy. If I were being treated surrounded by Canada, I would have already died.
I don't want the Obama Administration to cram government-run healthcare down our throats.
EVERYONE in the United States of America have access to healthcare. Go to an emergency room for treatment, and they cannot turn you away. They are required by law to treat you, whether you can pay for it or not. Source(s): Retired agent, 30 yrs.
Don't you get it? Health meticulousness is not "free." Somebody has to pay for it.
I see we own the usual half truths misconceptions and lies being posted here, habitually by US insurance agents who have self interest in the current system.
Jakeybird have made some excellent points, (and I agree there is no such thing as 'free' vigour care) but here's some hard facts to add.
1 - People live longer contained by countries with Universal Health Care
USA - 78 years
UK & Germany - 79
France and Canada - 81
Sweden, France & Australia - 82

2) Pickle is just plain wrong.
People surrounded by the US pay MORE for health carefulness than any other nation in the world, not less. Partly because of the % of strength premium that goes straight into his pocket for selling you the policy.
Take the average family beside 2 children.
That family is taxed as follows:
America - 12%
Australia - 16%
Canada - 21%
UK - 27%
Germany - 35%
France - 41%

If you afterwards take into account that the median US household income is around $50,000p.a. and the average household healthcare plan costs circa $10,000p.a. it doesn't take a degree surrounded by maths to see that the 20% average spend on healthcare puts tax + healthcare for the average American family at around 32%. Add to that 'out of pocket' medical expenses such as co-pay and deductibles and that % go up even further.
Now remember that the for the other countries healthcare is included in taxes and all of a sudden the US doesn't look moderately so 'cheap' does it.
3) The quality of US healthcare isn't as great as the health company's PR department would enjoy you believe
Access to healthcare is worse (even for insured people) in the US than elsewhere. 70% of Americans find it difficult to get non ER consideration at night or on weekends compared with 44% contained by the UK and 56% in Australia.
Also, ever wondered why US medical malpractice costs are so high... because they screw things up....deeply . As an example lab test errors are almost twice as high within the US as they are in the UK or Australia and significantly higher than Canada.

All that in the region of waiting lists is based on horror stories not the truth that applies to the majority of general public.
50% of Cardiothoracic surgeries in the UK are carried out in lower than 4 weeks.

Be scrupulous when dealing with these guys... it's like asking a flock of Turkeys what they want for Christmas.
Nothing is free we adjectives pay one way or another. But i would fairly pay for my health diligence in my taxes rather than strength insurance like Anerica. I go to my doctor iits already remunerated for i need an operation its paid for, i requirement dental treament i pay for it. Dental treatment i only free for those beneath the age of 18 and over 65 or if you are on benfits. Yes my dental care is subsidised so i dont pay full price on the sunshine unless i go totaly private. Where the hell did having to keep on 6 months for dental treatment come from?? phoned my dentist last week for an oppointment and got one for today ( the morning i choose not them) my treatment is finished. My daughter needed three surgical operations and each of them be scheduled around her school expressions so that she missed as little schooling as possible and the treatment she got was excellent from surgeons to the nurses and porters. Yes british hospitals are run down but that is to say being fixed, At the moment there are three brand contemporary hospitals nearly complete within a short distance from me. i can turn up at any hospital and be seen and not turned away because i dont own insurance. No health care system is reliable they all have their flaws but confer me the good old nhs any sunshine she may at times seem like she have seen better days but she always come subsidise. I always thought being a doctor be a vocation didnt realise they were single in it to make big bucks. Stupid me and our doctors are remunerated pretty well they are not on the bread line. And if you ask british doctors what sympathetic of system they would work under most of them would say nhs the mere thought of not mortal able to treat someone because their insurance didnt cover them would make them sick,
Because the doctors don't work for free nor do the drug manufacturers give their tablets away for free.
When the Government pays for something, where do you think they obtain the money? It's called taxes. And who do you think pays the taxes? we do.
First rule of energy - ain't nothing free but air and river (but now we're even paying for water).
There is no such thing as "free." Somebody has to retribution for it. And if you get the government involved, somebody have to pay all of the costs of establishment paperwork, the govt personnel overseeing the paperwork, etc. Medicare has generated so much paperwork that a quarter of every medical and hospital bill is administrative costs of doing the paperwork for the "insurance."
Another quarter of every hospital bill is costs shifted from non-paying against the law aliens since the govt mandated emergency care cannot be denied non-payers. Citizens who removal insurance and cannot pay will have to apply for state medicaid or the hospital can put a lien on their house, garnishing wages, etc. Only illegal aliens are impossible to chase down and collect payment.
So the govt have already doubled the costs of medical care in the US. You want to double or triple the costs again? Are you going to repay for it? I'm sick of paying for everybody else thru taxes and having nothing vanished to meet my own needs. So are most folks.
One last item: the person who pays decide who gets what. Do you want someone else telling you what medical guardianship you can get where and when? Or do you want to desire for yourself which doctor you want to see? Canada, UK, etc, now have such long waiting list for care that an emergency dental appointment will take 6 months. You want to be within excruciating pain with a swollen chin for 6 months before you can get see by a dentist?
what do you be a sign of free?
You mean increase our payroll taxes by 4 or 5% and then not pay envelope the dr? is that what you mean?
Free health insurance? How will doctors, nurses and other hospital workers procure paid?
Nobody has free robustness insurance...in other countries they pay MUCH, MJCH more for their insurance than we do here. Having FREE anything is pretty preposterous.
