With insurance, are free abortions ever available at planned paternity for underage women?
or do they cost a lot of money...?
Answers:
abortions cost 300 dollars, and unless you notified your parents, i dont see how you would get insurance to cover it, if insurance would cover it at adjectives
No i dont think they are free. Abortions cost about 400 dollars, or so I hear. You would own to contact them and ask how much it is and if they accept insurance.
If you are on state welfare it might be free if you are under 18. Check out the planned maternity website and call a local location and ask them.
So basically my answer is ask them because not a soul knows the answer unless you ask the medical office. Source(s): By the method some insurances DO cover abortions. When I had school insurance (through a college) I read the pamphlet that come with the insurance. It said that pregnancy was considered a sickness and they would cover abortions (i wouldnt own had to pay anything if I have one with that insurance). And I think welfare (state insurance for poor people) covers it. Other private insurances any dont cover it or would only cover a little of it.
They are no free unless you have a medical condition that may bring death or the baby is severly deformed. Other than that your insurance will not cover it and prices inventory from 300-600
Abortions are expensive, and insurance does NOT cover abortion. And planned parenthood doesn't concordat with abortions, you'd have to stir to an abortion clinic.
First of adjectives, an abortion in the first trimester runs 500 to 1000 dollars minimum.
In the second trimester, 600 to 10,000 (yes TEN THOUSAND).
And it will scar you emotionally for life span. Just talk to anyone whose had one.
But in the order of the insurance, many plans cover abortion. But as a minor your insurance would be through your parents. So they would have to step with you in direct for you to use their insurance.
And for those who say it is not a life inside than why do they own actually videos of ultrasounds where on earth the child tries to move away from the instrument inserted into them? And why can you see hands and fingers and other detail?
abortion is not covered at any cost
