i do not have much perception but i personally studied all their policy papers and premium amount. national insurance is most liberal and from my personal experience as economically as my acquaintances' experience, it gives claim liberally, can be renewed up to 80 yrs of age (highest) but prominently comes with higher premium.
pl. make a note of that legally no company is liable to renew ur policy up to the max age limit they articulate but i know people getting dialysis done for year after year by paying premium to national insurance co which doesn't disagree to renew their policies.
i do not have see any of my acquaintances to take any mediclaim policy from any other co than national ins co. and hence can't comment much on them. however, i know that reliance is the cheapest policy and tries its best to avoid claims as per the assistant of my surgeon (i underwent a surgery some time spinal column in a big corporate hospital (omitting name to avoid any endorsed issues)).
