Is It Possible To Provide Free Healthcare Insurance to Everyone?
I would really like to know how it can be done. I am sitting behind this computer wondering how this can be established, but I really can't come up near any ideas to do it without including a budget for the program. Can we do anything relateon cloud nineocial Security? where some money is pulled out of one's paycheck....

I know other countries are on the ship with this, but their QUALITY of healthcare is third world at best--I just spoke beside a woman who's mother-in-law lives in England--she waited 18 months to grasp an appointment with a hearing specialist to be fitted for a audible range aid. Do you really think Americans will be able to sustain energy as we know it with healthcare that will be reversed back 20-30 years? If you hold cancer, do you want to wait 6-9 months to start treatment?
Everyone in our medical pasture has school loans close to and over $100,000 surrounded by this country. Do you think people will jump into the medical field if their pay will be subsidized by the senate and they will not be even able to pay rotten their loans?
Healthcare in our country should be given to CITIZENS only--that is where the problem lies---every wrong alien that steps foot on American soil is given free healthcare--even the detainees in Cuba at Guantanamo bay-they have free healthcare.
Sorry for the analogy but I see bent aliens as cockroaches--once they are here- they stay until they suck the life out of you.........that is what they are doing to this country.
Well nothing is free, someone has to settle for it.
Medicare cost $5,000 per person per year.
Times 300 million people, thats 1.5 trillion a year.
The 2006 federal Budget be only 2.4 trillion.
The US Government currently spends about 580 billion a year on medicial effort ( nedicaid, medicare, VA )
To raise the additional 920 billion a year.
We would requirement $3,066 dollars from every person in the US surrounded by addition to what people currently pay packet.
Or if you look at individual and corporate tax's to pay for it,
They would have to be increased 69% to put on a pedestal the additional 920 billion dollars each year.
You said it yourself, Social Security money is pulled out of your check. Plus it's inefficient and insufficient. That ain't free. If you want to pay for healthcare by having money pulled out of your take-home pay check, set up a bank draft with a correct health insurance company.
It's unfeasible because the money has to come from somewhere. One thing to undergo in mind is almost everyone who has vigour care already has a premium deduct from every pay check. It's not the most effective system because a great deal of children who deserve health care coverage don't win it, but it could be a heck of a lot worse.
Could the Federal Government take over the healthcare system and trade name it a law that everyone is entitled to free health keeping? Sure they could. Unfortunately, that would cause more problems than it would solve. For starters, our taxes would double (possibly triple), and there would be profoundly of people out there that CAN work but discard to who would get free health supervision -- how is that fair? Ditto that for illegal aliens -- they would also gain free health care because hospitals are required by ruling to treat people who are ill or injured, and how is that gala to American citizens? Secondly, the Federal Government has shown that the only article it is really good at is miring everything in bureaocracy, so predict the red tape you would have to shift through just to get a second judgment or to see a specialist. Finally, once the Federal Government takes over a program like that, there's no turning vertebrae. If we don't like the system they come up with that's too bleak -- we're stuck with it unless we want to go to Canada or Mexico or overseas for our condition care.
If you want to know what government socialized prescription is really like, talk to the folks contained by Canada. You'll be surprised. Can you imagine having to hang around 6-8 weeks for an MRI? That's the current wait time at Windsor Memorial Hospital, and their MRI unit runs 24/7, so you may hold to come in at 3:00 in the morning on a weekday. How roughly asking a doctor for a preventive exam like a colonoscopy and being told you can't enjoy one unless you're showing symptoms of a problem? Uh, excuse me, but if you have colon cancer and you start showing visible symptoms, your cancer is already surrounded by the terminal phase (READ: You're going to die no matter what the doctors do). It's amazing to see how many Canadians come into the U.S. to receive their prescriptions filled or to see a doctor, and they have to reimburse for that out of their own pockets -- great system, huh?
It can't be done. Several reasons.
Nothing is EVER free. The taxpayers other pay for it. Governments don't have a artifice source of free income. The burden is always on the backs of the working class. Don't be shortsighted and assume that taxing corporations way that the working class doesn't foot the bill. Think about where CORPORATIONS capture their money. They'll just put in price hikes, and Joe Average who buys the failure product will end up paying for it - again.
Even the countries with "free form care" like Canada and the UK, don't provide it for EVERYONE. It's ONLY for their subjects/citizens. Half the uninsured people here within the US are here ILLEGALLY. No matter WHICH country with "free" strength care they would go to, THEY wouldn't be covered.
The ONLY place where on earth someone can get "free" care, is where on earth the doctors' aren't paid - they volunteer for a year. You want to take on $250,000 of student loans, and progress work for free? Not many people are really "into" that.
And PLEASE don't reason about putting anything else on Social Security. It was never intended to be a sole source of income for ancestors for 25 and 30 years, and even more. But that's what it's turned into, and it's on the verge of imploding. 30 years ago there be 8 workers supporting every recepient, now there are 3, and soon it's going to be 2. You don't WANT to reward those social security taxes. Trust me, you won't be able to afford to put away if you do - only the people RECEIVING benefits will own any money. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
