hi,u don't keep on 4 insurance now...first u take charge of ur health...by controlling Ur diet....u may go 4 ur test in general hospitals 4 free check ups....
Diabetic here too, with no insurance as resourcefully. I haven't found any place to get the strips for free. There are no programs for it unlike to drugs to control it. If you need serve with your medicine google partnership for prescription assistance. I obtain a 90 day supply for $20. A huge money saving.
As for the strips, I own not had similar luck. But I can tell you that Walmart Sells the Reli-on Tester for give or take a few $8 and they have test strips at $20 for 50 and $40 for 100 strips. That's the cheapest I hold found.
You can get by just fine doing a once a morning fasting test (before breakfast surrounded by the morning) so 50 strips will last a month and a half.
Another entry you can do is look for a medical study. I enrolled in one surrounded by March (it runs to August) they are giving me the experimental drug for free during this time and gave me a supply of 100 strips, alcohol pads, lancets and another tester. I interview 2 times a day for this study, it is run by Novo Nordisk and the drug is doing wonders.
A possibility is if you are indigent your local public health agency may hold a program for you. I have not investigated this because I have too much income (being employed section time). My friend who is HIV positive and out of work gets all of his medication and related supplies free from the public health agency where on earth he lives in New Jersey. So you might want to check out that route.
Also, the county I live in (Lake County, Florida) and where on earth I used to live (Montgomery County, Maryland) they offer their residents a prescription discount card. Our card is good for 20% past its sell-by date and I inquired and found that it will apply to diabetic testing strips. So this may be an option for adjectives down your test strip costs as well.
Addition: I simply found a link to a company that may be able to help out you with free strips, link below: Source(s): http://www.needymeds.com/program_list.ta…
