Answers:
Why don't you hold MEDICARE?... at 72 you should have BOTH part a and member b... it comes out of your social security check... Why didn't you THINK about this formerly you moved to AmeriKa... the only country in the developed world lacking a good health prudence system?

And if you aren't on social security... then you will merely have to pay for the services approaching everyone else.
hey friend, how bout falling over and claiming their was a loose slab/path/curb and claim !
You can obtain Medicare if you've been a permanent resident for 5 years or more. However, since you didn't remuneration into the system you'll need to pay for it, and it'll run more or less $600 per month. Whether or not the premium is worth it or not depends upon what services you need. If you do get Medicare you'll after need a Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plan.

Depending upon your income you may qualify for Medicaid. It will be free or nearly free. Source(s): Independent Agent
