"Free" health insurance, similar to "free" anything else, doesn't exist. You're paying for it one way or another; higher taxes, low-quality medical fastidiousness, etc. Michael Moore made a very misleading movie about this, where on earth he showed a hospital in Cuba that gave "free" fastidiousness to Cubans. He later admitted that they know he was coming, rolled out the red carpet, and showed him their authentic best. Interviews of actual Cuban citizens, made by other journalists, indicated that what Michael Moore showed in his picture was not factual, and that the majority of the Cuban hospitals are substandard, as is the medical supervision. Later in the movie, if you're REAL quick, you'll see that the World Health Organization truly ranked America's health guardianship higher than Cuba's. You have to be solid quick, and hit the "rewind" button on your remote, but you'll see it.
Recently, Americans were surveyed more or less this, and 51% of them do not want "free:" health care. Think give or take a few that. You're giving something away for free - if half of Americans don't want something free, there have to be something very wrong with it.
americans do not have free health guardianship because of the incredible power that is yeilded by special interest groups in this country. the AMA (american medical association) is one of the strongest union in the country next to may-be leading leage baseball players association. The doctors dont want government sponsered health insurance b/c the govt. isent going to compensate the outragous rates the doctors can bill your insurance company. That is the real reason we dont hold health insurance. Politians are slaves to money and they will do what it takes to verbs to get elected and reelected unfortunalty that takes lots and lots of money. Money they find from special interest groups. By the way Obama is not taking money from special interest groups!
How many Americans do you know that would want to pay money when they are athletic?
"Free health insurance" or "free health care" would be remunerated with higher taxes or payments (like regular form insurance), so it would be nowhere near "free" to everyone, although some lower income families may take a subsidy for it to make it cheap or free for them (theoretically, but that just method other people would pay for those that can't afford it).
Aside from that, the American culture is too self-centered... culture that make a lot of money wouldn't want to deliberate that people who hardly generate any money (or are unemployed) get the same benefits as they do.
Doctors can charge more when they are "on demand" (like an emergency situation, ambulance services, etc)... plus, it works economically for our instant gratification aspects that our society loves so much.
If that's not enough, you could look at some of the other countries that offer it. Canada have what seems like an wonderful setup for health care.... until you call for an appointment. It can take several months to see a doctor, and even a few days or weeks to go to the "Emergency Room" (which is why numerous Canadians that necessitate serious attention come to America and pay the extra money to get comfort right away).

They can deny a claim for any reason they want and population who deny these claims are usually not trained health care professionals they are business individuals. They need to do what is good for the business not what is pious for the person. So imagine these companies loosing adjectives that money power and people loosing their jobs...Wont ensue not in this country the dam president vetoed a bill that would enjoy given millions of children coverage who can not afford it!
