Where are you located? Since he is an developed and is unable to work, did you apply for Medicaid for him? Many patients I see with paralysis or TBI are placed on Medicaid which will settle up for some PT. Why did you wait so long?

I dont think you realize the expense that would go into a specialized treatment for traumatic brain injury. This would require around the clock monitoring, medical staff, nursing staff, lab services and would mean paying each staff extremity a wage. I know of none of these facilities that have volunteer staff. Even if near were, there would be costs for maintain the building such as utilities and such.
In other words, "that dog won't hunt". I will tell you some good word though. Most any hospital you encounter will have a financial aide department. There are such grants as Hill Burton that help out those who cannot afford treatment costs.
Please check into these as it sounds like you truly need the assistance.
