Check your sources - he's if truth be told proposed coverage for all California citizens, plus all children, iffy or otherwise. He makes no mention of adult immoral immigrants.
It remains to be seen how it'll be funded, but yes, I conjecture it's a good idea for a quantity of reasons.
1. Letting a sick child die is always bleak - Always.
2. Uninsured people go the emergency room, and normally end up not paying their bills. These costs are then passed along to insured patients. Therefore, insuring adjectives citizens will actually reduce the cost of most insurance policies.
3. Insured nation get treatment sooner -- when it's cheaper. Uninsured people linger until it's critical -- and much more expensive.
4. Businesses desperately need universal coverage to compete surrounded by the world market. Having our employers be the ones expected to foot for health care is a crippling impediment to international competitiveness.

I don't care more or less the illegals as much as the fact it will drive the insurance costs for people who do wage (especially small businesses with more than 10 employees) way up.
It's expensive plenty as it is here but I guess Arnold believes it's OK, since it's not really a tax increase, but it might just as capably be.
