Is it unusual to hold 90/10 form insurance that the company provides free of charge?
We have a $600 total family deductible and everyone surrounded by our area accepts the insurance. We are not charged monthly for this insurance. I be just wondering if any other companies offer similar plans or if it's specific to my husband's occupation. He's a coal miner and most coal companies set aside insurance packages like this. Yes, it is particularly good coverage at no cost to you. I would imagine next to a $600 deductible the out of pocket amount is very reasonable as all right.

Wow, that's amazing. The only other profession I've ever hear of that doesn't ask the employees to contribute anything, is NEA Public School Teacher.

As long as you're not paying for the insurance, ANY insurance is good insurance... =) However, $600 family deductible, after 10% out of pocket is REALLY good. (I know of plans with a $2000 ancestral deductible, then 20% out of pocket....) I doubt it's specific to the occupation though.... Source(s): I'm a medical biller.
