Vauxhall free vehicle insurance policy.?

Hiya, i'm a bit new to this so i hope i'm doing it right. I was planning on buying a untried corsa with the free insurance (as it works out cheaper for me in the long run) but i be a little confused about the condition that say "must have held a UK/EU license for at least one year". Dose this penny-pinching it HAS to be a FULL license or will a provisional suffice? (obviously i have full now, but i enjoy not had it for a year whereas the provisional i previously held for a good 2 years). Any answers would be appreciated! Thank you.
